Professionally, Michelle is the CEO and CFO of the Elia family’s education technology company, where she leads high-stakes projects that serve school systems and government agencies across the country. She manages the operations from top to bottom—overseeing logistics, RFPs, technical documentation, timelines, contracts, and long-term strategy. She doesn’t write code—but she makes sure everything else is flawless, scalable, and grounded in purpose.
Her belief in the power of technology to uplift kids is what inspired her to pursue a Ph.D. in Education, focused on identifying students who don’t raise red flags on paper but still quietly drop out.
